Did anyone ever clarify the purpose? If it's for gaming, then 3950X is fine; otherwise, a lower number works better. A value above 3900X seems excessive. I’d suggest going with 3600X or even 3700X instead. For better RAM support, consider stepping down to something like the 3900X or 3600X. The 970 EVO feels like a poor investment right now. If you're not gaming and handling large file transfers, my advice is clear—don’t go that far.
