I have a 3930K that appears significantly hotter than expected. At 1.2x speed, I reach temperatures between 75-80°C at 4.2ghz during Cinebench and gaming. Across all stock models, performance stays in the same range. My cooler is a Corsair H110i GTX. I believe my cooling solution is adequate, tried various TIMs, remounts, but it still performs well every time. I’d appreciate any advice—this 3930K definitely needs more headroom! Thanks ahead!

Have you verified the most recent BIOS update for your motherboard? Are you using Windows 10? If yes, launch Task Manager and observe your resource consumption during idle time. You might be experiencing issues like Time Broker corruption or a Memory Leak. Would you like to share your complete system specifications?
