I'm seeing a 3900x and checking the best motherboard options. The main concern is whether an x570 would be better since the updated BIOS shouldn't cause post issues. I'm new to AMD and don't want any problems setting up a new PC. I currently use an MSI Intel board and don't have a strong preference for a specific brand. I'm familiar with MSI BIOS but have experience with ASUS before.

Tell me your budget and country, plus the features you're looking for. The ASus Prime-P works well with 12 cores, while the Gigabyte Elite and ASUS TUF are around $200 and offer great value. You mentioned wanting 3600MHz CL16 RAM, but I think it's better to stick with 3600MHz CL18 instead.

I’m not keen on spending $300 plus for a MOBO, but I’m considering the TUF and its similar VRM setup to high-end models. I’ve got 3200mhz memory CL16 and plan to boost the RAM speed. It should work fine, otherwise I can upgrade later. Just need a solid foundation for everything. I’ve heard some negative feedback about the Asus Prime-P.
