Hello everyone, I’m a concern about my temperatures and wanted some guidance. After having my 3770k OC’d to 4.3 for three years, it was limiting my 980 Ti’s performance, so I increased the voltage to 1.226v with a 4.5 OC. I use a HyperEvo 212 with push/pull mode. My plan is to upgrade to a H100i soon. Recently, during a 30-minute Prime95 test, I recorded average temperatures around 76°C and spikes up to 83°C. While playing GTA Online at a five-star wanted level with heavy traffic and explosions, I stayed at 65°C, reaching a peak of 69°C. The room temperature was 72°F. Could I safely aim for 4.6, or am I already at the highest safe setting?

Hello... That's excellent... 4.5 gaming performance at around 70% load in 72°F... maintain consistency and ensure reliable outcomes... avoid pushing the CPU with unusual or irregular workloads right now.

Spiking to 83C is high. I'm sure some people have gotten temps higher, but unless you want to fry it, I would back off. Also make sure everything is free of dust and check your fan speeds.

Hello... That sounds good... 4.5 Gaming max at low 70s in 72F... keep it steady for a while and maintain consistent performance... avoid pushing your CPU with unusual tasks right now B )
Thank you. I'll remain here until I can install water cooling.
