I’m preparing to assemble my first PC soon. I’ve organized every detail, but RAM remains the only part puzzling me. Should I choose a 3000MHz C15 or a 3600MHz C18? If I go with the 3000MHz C15 and try to overclock it to higher speeds like 3600 or even 3733, what challenges might arise? I aim for a smooth experience while working and gaming without any stress or complications. Any advice, opinions, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's tough finding a 3200MHz C14 near you. It seems very limited, and even if you search hard, it's not easy to locate. There are concerns about latency if you try to overclock a C15 3000MHz, but I'm not sure if that's accurate.

Feel free to explore a Samsung OEM memory with any speed (2133 - 2666). You might find the B-die ideal for overclocking, the D-die a solid alternative, and the C-die less recommended. A 3200 cl14 is assured with a Samsung B-die, which explains the higher cost. Based on your CPU/Mobo, it's possible to push it to 3600, but I usually stop at 3200.

Micron E-die performs well. 3000Mhz Crucial Ballistix @4000Mhz works fine on Intel.

Yes sir, I am as adventurous as you but the problem is nobody sells C14 3200MHz here. Being expensive is not any issue

You don't need to purchase 3200 cl14. As mentioned, locating Samsung OEM parts (those with green PCB and no heatsink) is likely better since the markings on the chip are visible. Using third-party brands isn't reliable—each SKU may not yield the same chip due to heat sink obstructions. Sample Samsung SKUs (listed on stickers) are DB2 = D die M378A1K43DB2-CTD BB1 = B die M378A1K43BB1-CPB. The code starts with the first letter of the last six characters.
