I have a straightforward inquiry—should I purchase the 3700X solely for gaming? Based on the benchmarks I’ve seen, it only offers about a 5% boost and comes at a significantly higher price. Still, I wanted to clarify. The rest of the setup includes a 5700XT ASUS B450-F Gaming 16GB DDR4-3200 CL16 750W PSU and SSDs. Thanks for your assistance.

For CPU-based game capture or streaming with x264, 3700X is required. Otherwise, performance will be nearly the same in games.
