3570k. Ideal setting for 4.3 is 1.175 manual VCORE. Auto VCORE reduces it to 0.940v during idle. When powered on, it raises it to about 1.22 which is a bit more than necessary. Result: Manual mode gives lower temperatures under full load, while auto mode brings higher temps during full load and cooler temps at idle. Auto or not?
P.S. I accidentally adjusted VCORE to 1.8V by mistake (should be 1.180). After booting into Windows I saw extremely high temperatures. I restarted right away and fixed the issue quickly. No damage detected.
The temperatures reached a certain level during the overclock, prompting questions about the CPU cooler's performance or adequacy.
