Hi David,
For your R5 3600X, the G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series RGB offers better performance with its higher clock speeds and more channels, making it a solid choice if you want improved multitasking or gaming. The G.Skill Trident Z ZR also provides a good balance of speed and stability.

Your existing Gigabyte RX 5700 is great for everyday use but won’t give you the extra boost from these kits. Stick with it unless you plan to push the CPU beyond its limits. Let me know if you need more details!

If available and fits your budget, consider the Trident Z Neo 3200MHz CL14. The F4-3200C14D-32GTZN model is what I purchased recently. Many users agree that a 3200MHz CL14 offers optimal performance for Ryzen systems.

The Trident Z NEO line is built for Ryzen processors and offers improved compatibility. Standard models still function perfectly. The key distinction lies in the clock speeds—3600MHz versus 3200MHz. A boost of around 1-2% is possible with the higher frequency, though it depends on your needs. Either option will perform adequately.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm choosing the 3600Mhz model because it should work well with Ryzen. David

Not always, I currently have three sets of identical 3200MHz non-neo kits across two builds. They were previously tested on various rigs, mostly with Ryzen processors.
