Ended up purchasing replacement components for the PC. The system has 32GB of RAM, but only 16GB is being recognized. I'm using Windows 10 Home (x64) Build 19043.1202 (21H1) with four 8GB modules. Each module shows 8GB when tested separately. Forum discussions suggest checking msconfig and disabling the 'maximum memory' setting under Boot. After several attempts—toggling the option, restarting, and rechecking—I still see only 16GB available. The BIOS lists 32GB but reports 15.9GB usable, even when using just three modules. I've also reset CMOS and applied optimization settings, but nothing changed. If I revert to the original 16GB RAM, it works fine and shows 15.9GB available. The system seems to recognize the total but not the actual capacity.
