because you're constrained to a short time, I suggest 4x8—it's quicker or at least not slower. I also advise against saving the 70bucks if a pricier setup offers better performance. In fact, I think choosing 2x8 was a big oversight in my 9900k build; it should have been 4x8. Both 32gb configurations help in games, especially in FPS.
