Hey there, Mason. I'm trying to set up a new system using the Z390 board with a Gigabyte Auros ULTRA and an i9 9900K. We're aiming for a maximum of 128GB of RAM, but we're limited to 32GB per module. The challenge is finding compatible RAM that fits these specs. Most consumer options only offer 16GB DIMMs, and even those are mostly from ZADAK and G.SKILL, which only support certain boards with limited slots. I'm looking for ECC or non-ECC un-buffered RAM, but those are rare and usually only come in smaller sizes. The board itself only supports 32GB DIMMs, which was added in March 2019, but the RAM compatibility info hasn't been updated since February 2019. It seems like there might be a gap in the available options. I'm spending a lot on this and would really appreciate any guidance or recommendations you can provide. Thanks a ton!

Avoid it now. Consider X299, X399, or EPYC/Xeon Gold for increased memory.
