Hello everyone,
I have a 32GB DIMM DDR4 clocked at 2747 MHz with cpu-z.
I aimed for 3200 MHz, which the RAM can handle (and MB supports 3200 (O.C.)).
The Asus BIOS automatically set the RAM to 2747 with XMP enabled.
I switched it down to 3193 MHz, but it won’t boot?
Should I just keep it as is? I’m not gaming or trading much, and the bench shows it’s running at 92.9%.
Thanks, Mark

It's fine, just wondering if you'll go overclock the 8700k. 212 offers a great price for performance, Cryorig H7 is a solid budget option, Noctua d15 and cryorig R1 are top air coolers I favor over AIO.

Save your bios profile and reset all settings. Then go to the RAM configuration and select the 3200 XMP profile, check if it functions properly.

Thank you for your assistance.!!! So much!! After resetting the F5 and adjusting the DRAM to 3200 MHz, it didn’t boot. Then I tried again, changed the profile to XMP, and everything else remained unchanged except the DRAM setting, which was set back to 3200 MHz. It worked! The benchmark is now at 103%.

Question - am I okay with the EVO 212 tower cooler for the CPU? I didn’t expect a water adjustment, but it mentioned something about changing the profile!
Thanks a lot.
