3200MHz memory operates at 2132MHz frequency.
You purchased the Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB RAM with a 2x16GB configuration and DDR4 3200MHz. After installation, CPU-Z showed the DRAM frequency at 1066 MHz instead of the expected 1600 MHz. You attempted to use an XMP profile in BIOS, but it didn’t alter the frequency despite selecting the 3200MHz option. What steps can you take to resolve this issue?
Did you confirm the settings in slots 2 and 4? Then restart and try again. Reset the CMOS if needed.
after exiting bios and saving, i quit but didn’t re-enter to confirm updates. now only slots 2,3, and 4 are available, since the large cpu cooler blocks slot 1, leaving them in their correct positions.
I saved and closed when I left the bios in my second screenshot on the "timings" Table, showing up "xmp-3200" before a similar entry on the left three
The issue has been resolved. I only unlocked the XMP profile to be chosen, but the selection was set automatically. Switching from auto to XMP-profile 1 fixed the problem, and it now works correctly. Thank you for your timely assistance!
