If you stick with XMP settings, chances are limited. Memory needs precise timing adjustments to achieve the best performance gains, XMP profiles aren't enough on their own. Therefore, whatever you receive, focus on optimizing your own timing—sometimes 3000MHz with a CL12 will beat both 3200MHz/3600MHz CL16 configurations. For simplicity, the most affordable option is what you already have.

@RadiatingLight You just noticed it after five minutes, but I wasn’t too confident. @Princess Luna Thanks, I’m not great at OC. My system has the MSI B450 Gaming Carbon AC and the BIOS includes a "Memory try it" feature to make RAM upgrades simpler. I attempted to raise my RAM from 3200 to 3600, but the PC wouldn’t boot. I kept lowering it until it reached 3400, but it still wouldn’t start until I set it back to 3200 via XMP. Now I have a 16 GB module from G.SKILL and think adding another would boost gaming performance, especially with dual-channel support.

Consider purchasing an additional module for dual-channel support. Dual-channel performance is crucial for RAM systems. Avoid using a PC without dual-channel capabilities. It would make sense to upgrade your 16GB module to a compatible 2x8GB pair, ensuring compatibility through tested configurations.

Yes, even with a 32GB capacity, dual-channel performance remains essential today for maximizing your processor's capabilities.

I don't believe I can manage to sell just one DDR4 16 RAM with 32GB, that sounds like a lot for me. I feel like I have no other option...
