3200 MHz RAM with a clock speed of 2133 MHz
Hi. I received a new setup with a Ryzen 5 2600X and a ROG Strix B450F. My 3200 MHz is automatically set to 2133, but when I try to change it to 3200 MHz during overclocking, I encounter an error (picture). I have the latest BIOS 3003 installed.
In EZ Mode the B450-F board isn't visible; you need to switch to Advanced Mode, which is accessible via AI Tweaker > AI Overclock Tuner.
Attempt two solutions: First, try re-seating the memory. It might be the connection isn’t fully seated on the RAM, so you can eject it, plug it back in, and test again. If that fails, reduce the frequency slightly. Just because the spec says 3200Mhz doesn’t ensure performance. Gradually lower the speed until you achieve stability. For example, my PCs have 3200Mhz RAM—my gaming rig works fine at 3200Mhz, though it’s a bit tricky to reset the CMOS in the ITX case if needed.
