I need to understand what others think about adopting the latest DDR4 spec for memory, especially buying single sticks of 32GB. Is this approach trustworthy? Have people tried it before? Which brands are currently leading in RAM performance?

I chose DDR4 - 3200 based on some information suggesting matching the memory clock speed with the infinity fabric's 1600MHz. Is this the best option for achieving the desired memory speed? I'm building around Ryzen 9 3900x and possibly the 3950x. I'm still deciding. My work involves a lot of Python tasks and I'm looking for high thread counts. I also want maximum memory, starting at 64GB (two 32GB sticks) and planning to expand to 128GB (four 32GB sticks) later. So my main concern is the reliability of this new RAM choice. If it doesn't fit the current setup, I'll have to upgrade to 64GB or more.

We're aligning on a similar approach right now. I'm planning to create something with a 3600 capacity for up to 128GB. The 32GB drives don't interest me much, but the Buildzoid feedback suggests they look good—probably include those memory chips or something close.

You're currently running a Corsair LPX 32GB x2 setup for a week. The processors are from Hynix. You chose the 3000MHz CL16 model since the higher speeds aren't available locally. G Skill offers 3200MHz kits, but they're quite expensive. I upgraded to a 3400MHz CL15 and later adjusted to 3200MHz CL14 for more stability. Overall, it's performing well so far.

Hynix is also manufacturing chips tailored for their own use. That's really great and motivating for my goals.

Sure. But opening Thaiphoon Burner doesn't indicate if the chips are EFR, AFR or CJR.
