32' 4K Curved Monitor Opinions?
I'm working with a 32' 4K Samsung display and a 24' 1920x1200 screen on a compact folding table. Ideally, I'd switch to a smaller folding table since my laptop, keyboard, and mouse are all on the same surface. The 32' monitor is positioned at the back but slightly off-center, while the 24' one sits on the right side, tilted a bit. My laptop sits on the left, a bit toward the center, and the external mouse is in the lower middle. I often shift my neck between the two screens, which leads to noticeable discomfort after hours. Back then, with two 24' monitors placed side by side, neck strain was minimal because they were arranged in a V shape. Moving to a 32' monitor felt much more awkward, especially when switching views. If I upgrade to a curved version, would it ease the issue or keep the problems similar? The Samsung UJ59 is a VA panel at 60Hz, which works fine for me despite the washed-out colors. I don’t mind the lower refresh rate, and I’m okay with the VA type. Many people say IPS is better, but that’s not important to me. I’d like to know if switching from two 32' monitors to two curved ones makes a big difference. Would it be easier to view content at the corners with a curved screen? Would neck pain decrease? Also, does anyone have experience changing from two 32' displays to two curved ones? I only have one 32' and a 24', so I’m curious if buying a curved model would be a good move. People often find it harder to use two large monitors side by side due to their size. But with two curved ones, it might be simpler?
