I'm looking at upgrading my setup for Warzone. My current specs are a 1.3GHz CPU, Crucial Ballistix 8GB RAM, an RTX 580, and an ASUS Prime H370 Plus. I can handle speeds from 2133 to 2400 MHz now, but I’m not sure if the 3000 or 3200 will give me a real boost. I don’t think I’ll go for the higher speeds right now since they’re similar in price to the lower ones. I have two options: the RGB 16GB DDR4-3200 kit for $105 or the RGB 16GB DDR4-3000 kit for $100. I’m thinking about getting the 3200 MHz model soon, but I’ll wait a year before making the change.

It would cost just $5, and I’d opt for the quicker option. The likelihood you’ll see the difference is very low.

The price gap is just $5. I suggest choosing the 3200MHz model rather than the 3000MHz one unless you're buying locally, since the savings are minimal. If the cost difference were larger, the extra speed boost might not be worth the higher price.

I’m fine with the extra $5, though I wasn’t sure the reduced CL would have such an impact.

It won't be apparent as a change.
