3 diagnostic lights appear on an OptiPlex 3010 following CMOS reinstallation
I reinstalled the CMOS after my PC refused to show anything on the GPU or use IGPU. I removed the CMOS battery and put it back in, but the diagnostic lights kept stuck at 3 and 4. This suggests a memory issue, even though my computer was functioning normally and the RAM is brand new. I've tried several fixes without success.
I changed the RAM slots but it didn't fix the issue. You only have one RAM stick. The specs you provided are OptiPlex 3010 i3-3240 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, GTX 750 Ti.
Can we attempt to utilize a different RAM? Taking it from another person might help. If you don’t remove the GPU, integrated graphics won’t function properly.
On older systems without other GPUs, the iGPU will turn on automatically. These platforms typically require a graphics card to function properly.
