Look for a BMS or battery management system compatible with regular batteries. Since your old battery has protection features, choose one designed to work with those protections. If unsure, consult a professional or a reliable supplier for guidance.

It seems like you're asking about the specific type of board based on battery voltage. If the board doesn't support 7.4V, using a battery with a different voltage could cause harm.

Yeah, it took about 3.4 seconds. I was being careless and charged the battery, then tried it on that board. I’m sorry I did that for my friend, but it was just a cheap portable speaker board costing no more than $20 for the whole thing. It ended up smoking, though there wasn’t any obvious damage. I’d really appreciate a BMS so I could reuse the battery elsewhere. If there’s an USB or USBBA port available, I’d like to plug this in as a portable power source. Please let me know!
