I'm assuming this would be bad, but I'm just curious. There's a game I want to run and I meet every standard besides the GHz and it's been bothering me on an unfathomable scale.
I have an i7-7700HQ CPU 2.8 GHz, the temp sits at around 46 C. (Btw it's a laptop)
The game, at min, requires an Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz and at req an Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz

Also keep in mind that the CPU's clock speed is just one factor in performance. Each CPU generation provides marginally better performance per clock compared to the last, and your CPU is roughly five years up-to-date with those models. Consequently, your laptop 7700HQ should perform similarly to a desktop 3770. UserBench data shows only about a 1% difference between the two in their tests...

The specifications provided are quite flexible.
An i7-7700HQ can reach up to 3.8GHz (or vary slightly based on core/thread activity)
