what are you doing with the PC? purely games? what games? if you dont need the extra cores for multi thread performance, the 3600 makes more sense but if you're not cpu limited in your games, no difference really.
For everyday tasks like word work, school assignments, or browsing, I recommend using it for general normal use.
Both options work well; the 3600x version should perform better overall, with almost no noticeable difference.
For heavy blender renders or CAD work, go with the 3600 model. If you mainly do games and a bit of school projects, the 3600 is still a solid choice.
