25.9GB instead of 32GB
Hello, your 32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM has been working fine for three years without any issues. Your Task Manager now shows 25.9GB available, but after trying to reseat it didn’t improve the situation. You’re on a B550 ASUS motherboard—have you checked any BIOS updates or settings?
You're checking the location of RAM details. The overall memory capacity is displayed above the chart, and the available space represents the current free amount.
In the task manager, I previously used CMD and noticed that all four RAM slots were being utilized.
In the Performance tab, total RAM is displayed on the left side where you select CPU, Memory, Disk, etc., and above the usage chart at the top right on the Memory page. With an integrated GPU this view might not include memory allocated for it.
I was looking at it there. Thanks for your note—it might not have been the best shot at first.
I looked using CPU-Z. The task manager doesn't display memory speed, and the "hardware reserved" shows 0.0 PB, which seems unusual. Usually there should be some reserved memory. It might mean one of your drives is partially damaged. You could test each drive separately to see what memory it reports.
