Hello, Your power supply only supports 3 PCI-E or 4+4 CPU slots, with two already occupied by your GPU that requires 3 8-pin connectors. That leaves you with one of the remaining slots for your CPU. Avoid using a PCI-E power connector for your CPU. It can cause harm. Use only cables meant for their purpose. An 8-pin connector works well unless you're overclocking.

Fortunately, it won't fit either. You'd need to cut some tabs with a knife or use a hammer. For everyday use, one 4+4 should suffice, but overclocking could cause issues. It also depends on the type of PSU you have.

One 8-pin EPS connector can deliver up to 384W to the CPU, which is more than enough for an i9-12900K, even with overclocking. You don't require more than 700W unless you're attempting extreme overclocks like Liquid Nitrogen.

Since you're using the bottom-left ports for your GPU (3-8 pin connectors) and want to use the top-left port for your motherboard, you're left with limited choices—only one of those slots remains available.

Of course. However, the opposite end of the cable isn't the same. They differ in physical form.
