2 AIO
2 AIO
Hello, I plan to purchase the ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) Z390 motherboard. I intend to fit two AIO coolers—one for the CPU (DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX) and another for the GPU (GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme WATERFORCE 11G with RGB fans). My concern is whether these components are compatible with my motherboard or if a fan controller will be necessary. Regards.
Not on a GPU. A 360mm AIO setup will surpass any air-cooled configuration.
Your GPU is fine on the GPU, but a custom loop would help with better cooling. The AI units lack the necessary flow and mass for optimal cooling. Also, ensure the motherboard has a solid heat sink aluminum covering the VRM, along with high-quality VRMs and reliable VRMs themselves.
I don't think that's necessary. You only need a powerful CPU cooler and a top-notch GPU cooler. A big radiator can help a lot, but if you're looking for something simpler and more compact, I might be able to understand. However, it will get warmer.

I'll be using the LANCOOL II model for my installation. For the custom water cooling setup, I'm still figuring it out but I've tried an AIO system before.
