For this kind of budget, I’d opt for something entirely different. This option would significantly boost CPU performance and provide a solid upgrade on the GPU side.
Without checking @RONOTHAN##'s design, I came up with this. Updated details here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/j83MDZ. Choose an Nvidia option if needed.
It's actually quite affordable to upgrade your setup with an air cooler and several fans on an O11d chassis designed for good thermal performance. The white case gave an accidental theme, so I went with it. For upgrades, the CPU is significantly better, especially for gaming, and the GPU and PSU are also much improved. It comes with a 10-year warranty. If you need more cores for productivity without heavy caching, the 7900X offers similar pricing to the 7800X3D but isn't worth changing unless you do a lot of such work. For NVIDIA users, consider the 4070TI with 16GB VRAM for around $800. You can also get a Windows key later or buy it cheap from sites like CheapKeys.com for about $20.
I have no idea about parts, I don’t get much of this, and I’m just trying to build a good GForce PC under $2000 for gaming. I took my setup from the NZXT Player 2 Prime and made some changes. That’s why I’m confused about all the stuff. Please simplify it for me or something easy—I really appreciate it!
