Hi, I’ve set up a TP-LINK X60 Deco Mesh (x3). The main device connects directly to the internet and reaches about 1gbps in speed tests. The main unit links to an 8-port Gigabit switch (TL-SG108e), where speeds drop to around 100mbps. On both wired and wireless setups, I only hit roughly 89mbps. The 1000mbps LED on the switch lights up when full speed is achieved. Are there any missing steps? How can I maximize performance at each node? I usually research before setting up but always aim for better speeds. Thanks!

I’d check the LAN port settings on my router. It seems there’s a “green mode” that uses 1Gb ports at 100Mbps for an odd reason. Could another device have something like this? Also, it’s a common mistake to confuse Mbps with megabytes per second—just to confirm, are you getting 89 Mbps instead of megabytes?

Identified the problem. The Deco device's QoS settings were adjusted to 100/20 according to my earlier internet speed. Changed to 1000/1000 and everything is working now. Appreciate your help!
