Having 64 cores with just 256MB of cache implies roughly 4 cores per core or two pre-threaded units. This setup might also appear in certain 32 and 16-core models. Next-gen EPYC could boost this to around 1GB, especially as more cores are added. I’d expect a server CPU to reach 1GB within about five years.
