I checked the setup and thought about mixing in some 2GB sticks. It would slow things down, but for light video editing and gaming it might still be okay. Your current specs are solid, and the trade-off seems reasonable.

Gaming prioritizes performance, particularly on older systems with limited memory bandwidth versus modern DDR4 setups. Your usage is unlikely to surpass 15GB ever.

16 gigabytes in 1866 Mbps is the key, speed takes priority over capacity here, and 16 gigabytes comfortably covers gaming needs.
