16GB 3600MHz vs 32GB 3200MHz C16 form factor comparison
16GB 3600MHz vs 32GB 3200MHz C16 form factor comparison
I compared the Gskil F4-3600C16D-GTZN 16GB and Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 32GB. Neither showed noticeable differences on my 9700k. I’m checking which one offers better overclocking potential and what I’ll use more often—primarily gaming and streaming.
You need to review your usage patterns to determine if a bigger RAM size is necessary. Increasing to 32GB would likely work well even with faster speeds, since Intel isn’t heavily affected by RAM speed. The 3600 model, with its lower memory requirements, should perform better after optimization.
A 10th or 11th generation Intel processor isn't practical. You should use a different board, like the Ryzen 4000 series. More RAM is necessary now. I recently upgraded to faster memory.
Absolutely, there are many streamers out there. I don’t do that, so I can’t need 32GB. I’ve spent money on just gaming and performance upgrades. I’m generally a different kind of user. Don’t misunderstand the streaming part—why would I want to watch you play when I could be playing myself! lol. (Sorry, I’m a bit older)
