Alright so other than the title, this is a new issue, it popped up maybe 1-2 days ago, and just about no fixes have worked, (regedits, windows updates, defragging drives, disabling superfetch, ETC), how do I fix this? EDIT1: Forgot to mention, normally, i'd get only 6gb of ram in use while idle.
Get Process Explorer to inspect memory usage; Task Manager doesn't always show the full picture: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s-explorer We can't predict the problem without details.
Again, unless you share what’s consuming extra memory, we can’t help.
Have you attempted to execute an anti-malware or antivirus software? I’d like to perform a scan using Malwarebytes to check for any threats.
I think I’ll confirm again... Save the program I mentioned and send you the outcomes. It provides a thorough breakdown of which applications consume memory in specific ways. The task manager screenshots and high memory warnings offer little useful information. We can’t assist you unless you’re open to sharing which programs are using more than usual memory.
Sure, I tried it and don’t know if there’s an export feature, but I captured the screen.
Include this additional image along with the current setup. Only show six specific applications: Chrome tabs, Discord, Task Manager, SnipTool, and Process Explorer. Confirm it remains at 21GB RAM usage.
