13th generation Ryzen processors suitable for 4K gaming
CPU testing and evaluations would normally be dull if they ran them at 4K resolution, mainly showing long, simple charts. Still, we skip that kind of detail—it doesn’t help sell CPUs or upset fans about what works best for games!
These videos are available throughout the year, but they often gain traction during major gaming events like E3, IGN conventions, and major tech conferences. They also tend to appear around major product announcements or when new benchmarks are released.
I don't believe it's an issue. As you mentioned, showing just 4K benchmarks would be dull. I think 1080p and even 720p make solid CPU testing resolutions, particularly before the 4000 series GPUs came out. My point is that even at 1080p, GPUs were often constrained by their capabilities, so the differences between Zen4 chips and the 12th generation weren't as clear.
