What processor are you using? The latency seems high, but it's still better than what I experienced. That’s why I mentioned my own latency was around 65 to 70 nanoseconds. I imagine running the RAM at full speed of 3600 MHz along with my CPU and board would boost memory access and cut down on delays. Plus, your north bridge clock is roughly half mine. Assuming you have a newer CPU and a different board?

It seems like you're comparing different RAM options and discussing performance implications. The discussion highlights the importance of RAM speed relative to CPU capabilities, drawing analogies to fuel quality versus vehicle models. You mention testing your own setup and considering adjustments to timing parameters based on component quality. There are also questions about specific timings and whether dual-rank memory offers advantages in certain scenarios. The conversation touches on real-world benchmarks and the impact of different timings on overall system performance.

Perhaps so? I have cores that perform similarly to yours. In my view, the gap isn't significant until you need more than six cores. This usually doesn’t occur in my setup. My RAM is dual-ranked. I have a tRFC of 630 and a tREFI of 25000. Edited February 14, 2024 by leclod
