They complained about AMD outperforming Intel in early benchmarks and altered their testing rules, which seems illogical. Post-Alder Lake they still favor high-core-count chips like the 7950X, showing a lack of consistency. The claims appear to be based on misunderstandings or misinterpretations of data. TSMC's 5nm process is indeed newer than Intel's 7, but Intel reverting to 10nm undermines those comparisons. The energy efficiency argument is questionable since companies measure different metrics. This whole situation seems factually flawed.
