How about learning how to manage this device? Bios behaves quite differently from your old 8700k, with power usage climbing to nearly 300w even though it has only 5.3 cores. Your CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX runs at around 91-97°C under load, but the water cooler seems to be handling it well as long as you check it.

Avoid using benchmarks to check temperature; gameplay and other tasks won’t reach such high readings. Ideal range is around 90°C, but a CPU like 13900K can hit 13900K.

I'm trying to understand this, but 100°C on certain cores and a 300W power consumption in Cinebench seems unreal. What kind of cooler would handle that level of heat?

Only a handful, perhaps just five. You'll likely need powerful amplifiers.

It might still require around 2,360 radians of cooling even with a costume loop

Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420mm and 3x operates smoothly! Silent Wings Pro 4 handles it nicely Big Grin.

Managed to tune it at 5300mhz perf core with -0.07000, voltage offset now works on cinebench only pushing it to around 90, not 100 xD. Cyberpunk runs smoothly at 50c and everything seems fine.

Measuring temperatures with reference points is helpful, but using them as a maximum case isn't realistic since gaming tasks don’t reach those levels. It also varies based on other activities running on the system, like video encoding which can heavily strain the CPU.
