The recommended upgrade from the 8700k Asus Maximus with 16GB RAM at 3200MHz costs around 800 pounds. You might consider selling your current setup for about 200, leaving you with roughly 600 for gaming. With gaming demands growing, the 8700k is becoming more common now.
