1.325V at 4.5ghz?
1.325V at 4.5ghz?
I'm checking if running at 1.325v and 4.5ghz is acceptable. Should I keep it at that voltage consistently? My system specs are: Intel i7 6700k, ASUS Z170 PRO gaming, Noctua NH-U12S fan, and an EVGA Supernova G2 750W. I'm new to overclocking and want to make sure everything is stable.
Elias24 shared a link about Intel i7-6700k overclocking. He mentioned that once you reach a stable manual voltage, using adaptive mode is fine. He also noted that most motherboards with manual settings keep constant voltage even when the CPU isn't running. Adaptive mode reduces voltage during idle periods.

After you locate your steady manual voltage setting, adaptability will help you succeed.
I also heard that the choice between manual and adaptive mode doesn't really matter!
