12v Psu jumping around
12v Psu jumping around
I checked the voltage tolerances from these forums. The specs say 5% for +5V and +12V. For +5V it should be between 4.75 and 5.25 V, and for +12V between 11.4 and 12.6 V. Based on this, my PSU seems okay as it stays within the range. My main concern is the quick voltage changes every 3 to 5 seconds. The PSU drops from 12V to 11.9V when the system is under full load, but it still works without crashing or freezing. I’ve used this PSU for 5 months now. Thanks.
Psu first player dk premium PS-600AX 80+ Bronze 600W is a budget model.
psu is reducing voltage from 12v to 11.9v during full load, but it functions properly—no crashes or freezes.
I’d monitor the voltages only if you notice issues like artifacts on your system, even without high temperatures on the CPU or GPU.
As low end as a Seasonic B12 BC because it's the same.
Software readings are not very trustfull. Better masure with a multimeter. But there's nothing to worry about here though.
That's a low end unit.
what do you think about psu FSP VITA GM 850W ATX3.1 PCIe 5.1 80+ Gold - Full Modular?
I'd keep an eye on the voltages if and only if you're seeing artifacting on your system when taxed or random shutdowns even when you're not having high temps on your CPU or GPU.
i while ago its randomly shutdown, but right now is fine and it never happen again.

ok im gonna try it, but if the multimeter say the same as the software, and the voltage is up and down every sec should i replace it event though still within the tolerance range?
No, the unit is perfectly acceptable. Between 11,9 and 12 it can only be a variation of 0,01v when the measurement shifts from 11,9 to 12.
