I own an ASUS Z590-i and am facing identical problems with BSOD. I've reinstalled Windows, swapped drivers, removed third-party apps, confirmed no clocking issues, updated BIOS, and reset everything. I'm ready to purchase an MSI board now that I have enough.

Thank you. I understand you mentioned a 11900k as well, so I’ll make sure that’s addressed.

Additionally, you're using a 970 EVO Samsung storage and a WD Black Gen 4 drive on the system. I'm sure it's not related to the Evo drive.

Turn off C states in the BIOS—this may resolve the crash temporarily. The problem seems linked to the CPU adjusting its clock speeds. This issue occurs on both an ASUS Z590-E and the 11900K, remaining stable without C states but not reaching maximum speed. Looking forward for a BIOS update soon.

I cleared the Samsung 970 Evo three days ago and haven’t experienced any BSOD issues since then, only occasional daily warnings. It used to be in the Gen 3 M2 slot, while the WD Black Gen 4 drive ran in a different slot. I just placed an order for another Gen 3 M2 drive to swap it out, and will update once it arrives.

Installed a WD Black Gen 3 M.2 in the second position on the drive, but I encountered BSODs when launching any games from that location. It appears I’m always using the Gen 4 slot, so the issue might be linked to the second Gen 3 slot.

Hello, I'm facing the same BSOD problem here too. I attempted to reinstall Windows 10 but didn't succeed. My system specs are: 11900k + ASUS Z590-E. Samsung 970 EVO in M2 slot 3, Transcend 220s in M2 slot 4. Both M2 slots 1 and 2 are empty. My graphics card is AMD 6700XT. I'm not sure if the issue is related to AMD drivers. Any suggestions for fixing this BSOD?

Yes, I just installed the latest BIOS released a few weeks back.

Hi, I own mine. I just purchased a brand new i9, Z590-E, with g-skill trident Z neo 3600 and 16GBx2 C18 RAM. The power supply is also brand new. It’s an ASUS ROG Strix 850W Gold. My 970evo isn’t brand new—it was used about a year but still functions perfectly. After encountering BSODs, I upgraded to the latest BIOS version, but it didn’t resolve the issue. I ran the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool and RAM test tools, both passed. Maybe running MemTest86 later would help. Thank you, SergeyM. Disabling C-state in BIOS seems to work for me now. It’s stable so far. One last thing: today I replaced my 6700XT and used the built-in VGA to reinstall Windows. During installation, the VGA driver (UHD 750, built-in with CPU) caused a BSOD. All textures failed, then the system auto-rebooted. Also discovered some textures are broken—like the Discord login QR code, which now scans fine. This is frustrating, but I’ve stress-tested it. No visible issues now when I connect the 6700XT again.
