11400F Overclock?
11400F Overclock?
I think you should use a Z motherboard instead of a B motherboard.
11400F is a secured chip, the sole method to boost it is by enhancing the entire system bus (only feasible on Z590), which implies boosting all components including PCI Express. This approach would significantly lower overall system stability and performance improvements would be doubtful at best. Raising power limits won’t help with this chip. The only viable option is to extend the maximum core boost time.
Sorry everyone, I initially had the wrong BCLK maximum in my earlier post. After checking the programmed no-boot point for 11th generation processors, it’s a BCLK of 103 MHz. If you keep it at 102.9 MHz or lower, you can still overclock. But I’d advise against it since it’s only about 2.9% higher than the standard and could cause latency issues.
