I just bought an AMD Ryzen 1700 for Christmas, while I had an older AMD FX-6350. I knew it would slow things down, so I saved up for this new Ryzen 7000. My FPS dropped from around 75 to 120-180 after switching to the new CPU, more RAM, and other upgrades. Before that, my R9 280 could run CSGO at over 250 FPS. I’ve searched extensively for fixes, but nothing seems to help with my current setup.

I have the newest drivers, version 390.77. I didn’t reinstall Windows mostly because most other games run smoothly, except CSGO which still doesn’t perform well.

Perform a fresh setup with Ryzen, enable low settings for the game, and ensure multicore enhancements are activated. I achieve 300/350 FPS at 1700x with a 3.9 and a 1070.

I just completed a new reset and haven’t tested CS:GO yet, drivers are being installed.

Launch of CS is complete and my FPS has climbed to roughly 200-250, which is decent compared to what I got with my GTX 650ti. I’ve heard about an update that lowered everyone’s FPS, but I’m not sure what it does.

Here’s what you received on Dust 2 today: hostage I got 350, likely about the right person.

Sure, I was on Dust 2, and it's definitely an improvement over what came before. Thanks!
