10700k a good buy rn?
I've placed a preorder for a 3080 TUF and I'm still waiting on it. I'm curious about whether a 10700K is a worthwhile purchase at its current price of £290, especially since there are cheaper options like the 5800X. I'm unsure if the extra speed would justify the cost compared to alternatives. My setup mainly handles gaming but also includes some video editing. I also have an H100i, so a powerful CPU shouldn't be an issue. If I get the 10700K, I plan to pair it with an MSI MGPZ 490, two 8GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz RAM sticks, and of course the 3080.
For 290$??That's below MSRP,that's a very good deal. It will not bottleneck your GPU and you will have no problem both in gaming and video editing. Its nearly identical in gaming with the i9-10900k.
