So I just received my new MSI 1070 gaming graphics card today, connected it up, and everything functioned properly. I chose to overclock it, but after some testing and adjustments, it didn’t even reach 1mhz on the core or memory. All values stayed at stock levels, and whenever I tried to overclock, the whole screen would freeze and the computer would restart. I also tried using MSI Afterburner and ASUS GPU tweaks.

All my drivers have been reset and fixed. I can now overclock to 2117mhz without any issues. For reference, the recommended setup includes: EVGA 750 G2 with 3 WD blue drives (1TB each), 250GB 850 EVO, MSI Gaming 5 Z97, and an i7 4790k on a Noctua NH-D15.

It might be related to the power unit. Could you share the remaining details of your system specifications?

Excited to know it worked well and that the PSU was a great selection.
