MCE generates a lot of heat, particularly when using a budget board. Every Intel 6-core processor is set to manual overclock to its boost frequency and idle in the low 30s with NH-D15 drivers. At MCE, performance jumps roughly 4°C higher while frame rates drop.

Those aren't terrible temperatures, but there's room for improvement. If you find it difficult to understand, you can just leave it alone, and if those are really the peak temperatures, you should be fine for many years still.

Check recommended base voltages for each core before boosting. Aim for stable performance at 4.8 GHz, adjusting gradually.

Intel processors reach performance limits, and this one hits 5GHz. That’s a solid starting point. I’m running at 1.344GHz, which supports up to 5.1GHz on my i7 8086s. The next step is around 5.3GHz. All-core models at 5GHz perform well compared to my R7 5800X, making this the best choice.

Using the cooler setup, I'd configure it at 1.35v and 5ghz with a balanced LLC setting. Run a stress test using Realbench for an hour, then evaluate your own applications. If stable, reduce voltage until it's no longer needed, then add a small buffer. If unstable, cut frequency by a factor of one or raise voltage gradually up to around 1.4v—though cooling issues usually appear above 1.35v. I believe the 10600K rating is preferable to my 8700k thermally, so reaching 5ghz should be straightforward at about 1.3v. A speed of 4.8 is relatively gentle, and you might achieve it at 1.25v or lower.

I spent nearly a day attempting to push its limits. Cooling proved problematic now. I managed to hit 4.7 ghz across all cores at 1.35 volts. Any reduction would cause crashes during AVX stress tests. Temperatures remain around 45°C at idle and reach up to 77°C under load, with brief peaks near 80°C.
