I'm a little scared about getting too hot right now because I use a Cooler Master 690 II Advanced case. The only place to put the 240mm rad is at the top. But when i mounted it there, the left fan doesn't fit well since the cpu power cable blocks it and the io of the mb is in the way so it's off a bit. Another worry is my RTX 2080. It's the aorus version with 3 beefy fans and when i play watch dogs 2 or fortnite or even overwatch, the card gets up to about 70c. This temp is really good BUT the heat coming out of the card is way too much and that same hit sucks through the rad fans which doesn't help at all. I put my hand on top of the case and i can feel hot air coming out of it. In games like csgo or minecraft, the gpu stays under 45c so the air from the rad is cool but when i'm underload its really hot. I thought about getting a corsair 275r airflow. I will mount the rad at the front and this case comes with 3 120mm fans so i'll put both of them at the top for good airflow. 2 intakes and 3 exhausts. If that wont work ill put on fan at the front with the h100x's rad do you have a discord or something so we could chat there? its just easier to talk there
Yes I get it...I have an MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio card. In some games the GPU backplate gets super hot but I have good airflow. Personally, I would put the AIO fan on top of my case, but make sure there is plenty of fresh air coming from the front. Putting a fan on the front helps with the CPU but blocks too much air in the case and makes GPU temps higher. Honestly, that 690 II card only has one fan at the front and the drive cages get in the way. If possible, buy a high airflow case like the Fractal Design Meshify or the great Lian Li Lancool II Mesh for a low price!!! Check links here: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lian...-u...01-ll.html or even the Phanteks P500 Mesh https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...pe...ab-pt.html Either of these cases will cool well and the Lian Li one is very cheap, under $100. Definitely try Overide Mode even at 4.8 with a low vcore
