Yes, it is generally acceptable to apply voltage to a GPU, but ensure it remains within safe limits to avoid damage.
MSI overclocking scanner recently released, see if it detects anything.
You can increase the voltage, but it's not always necessary. It depends on your configuration.
The overclocking scanner works well. Just verify settings using tools like Furmark or Kombuster. During testing, aim to avoid any artifacts.
Following a detailed guide will let you overclock your card in about an hour. It's actually quite simple.
I tried those settings but the temperatures are normal plus200 benchmark just crashes. +150 gave the best score, +170 was lower and the minimum FPS was 5. Maybe 150 is okay for this case. Voltage is +10% I'm not sure if it affects anything. Default Clock, +150, +170 temps, MSI screenshot.
it was both. but then video says vram goes even further so i kept going
so at the end :
core clock +150 (155+ it kept crashing so i give up )
memory clock +1000 (idk why but it works fine)
core voltage +30% (idk if it does thing but as long as temps are fine im not gonna touch it )
Fan auto (max speed was 45 and temps 60-65c )
benchmark
btw i recently turned xmp profile and cpuz shows that my ram is at 1600 mhz task meneger says its at 3200 mhz. thats okay thing?
