It's wild! My 3600XT with the stock cooler stayed under 90 degrees most of the time, and it was working properly. Keeping the temperatures around 90 helped a lot. I reserved the lower temps for when I got an AM4 mount for the cooler.
Don't have direct exposure to the Stealth lineup except for the Spire and Prism which perform well. While 90 carries a bit of a dark vibe, it might be normal under certain artificial stress conditions. Intel's stock remains relatively stable, though it still manages the 10400. Of course, comparisons are subjective. Keeping everything in a compact setup without airflow could pose more challenges than in larger environments. It would likely impact both CPUs equally.
It's surprising that some say 10900k outperforms everything, when Ryzen 5000 actually wins in gaming. I've encountered a few misleading statements from @alatron978. He should double-check his information before discussing public forums. Based on my experience, I consistently use the stock cooler from Ryzen—it performs better than Intel's options.
They're insane about the 10400f—it's clearly the best unless you're into heavy computing. The only titles that run better on a 3600 are those nobody plays, like Total War games. It even outperforms it in Tomb Raider, GTA V, PUBG, and Assassin's Creed. This AMD obsession has to end.
