I've recently replaced the CPU on my Dell Inspiron 5676 (upgrading from R5 1400 to R5 2600). I've observed a noticeable drop in internet performance, though I can't clearly identify the cause. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, RX 570 4GB, 12GB DDR4 2400MHz, two 2TB HDDs (one for boot, one for games). I've tried connecting via a Cat6 Ethernet cable and switching to built-in WiFi. The speed remains around 10mbps, which is much lower than expected. Ookla SpeedTest shows similar results. I've previously achieved up to 80mbps download and about 8mbps upload. This performance is disappointing, especially since my older laptop reached ~30mbps. It seems unrelated to WiFi or Ethernet alone—something else is affecting speeds. Currently, only basic programs are running, including ATI Radeon Settings Lite, Malwarebytes, and Razer Synapse. I'm using Charter Spectrum internet with a Linksys AC1200 router and an ARRIS TM902A cable modem.

Reviewing the NIC's status or properties reveals whether the connection operates at 1Gbps or 10/100 Mbps.
