I'm curious about the limits of a Pentium 3 with an overclock, especially since you're a hardware enthusiast. Are you using Windows XP? Also, it seems your Ryzen system isn't supporting XP.
It was an OEM project from a thrift store a few years ago for around five dollars. No original components. Mobile nanoBGA used. Yes, XP version. Currently testing socket 939 on the bench in XP. For your Ryzen setup, Windows 7 is recommended. Enable USB legacy compatibility so keyboard and mouse function properly. Look for drivers compatible with previous generations of W7—they should work fine. That’s what I did on my Maximus X hero to benchmark 3D.
I've already handled that part, excluding the USB legacy compatibility. The chipset drivers resolved the issue on my end. However, your approach remains better.
