Hey! You're dealing with a tricky boot issue after installing ZorinOS. It seems the system is having trouble getting into BIOS despite the QCode D9 and A9 signals. Try resetting the BIOS settings or checking if there are any pending updates. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the OS or consulting the ZorinOS support forums for more specific guidance. You should aim to resolve this before your class starts.

Upon starting, it no longer immediately jumps to BIOS; instead it displays D6, then after roughly a second it transitions to A2.

Consider using Linux Mint instead of Zorin OS. It’s a more stable option for school use. The problem could stem from missing drivers or an outdated kernel, but I’m not entirely confident about that.
